Golfer FAQ Page

Can I change a reservation?
Online tee times booked from our partner sites are final. Cancellations and refunds are not allowed; however there are situations where a change request may be honored. If you would like to change or cancel a reservation you should complete the online change request form.

What is your weather policy?
The weather policy will vary by golf course. Please be sure to read the golf course tee time policy during the booking process. It will disclose the terms related to weather conditions and cancellation exceptions.

What is SSL?
Secure Sockets Layer, SSL, is the standard security technology for creating an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browser remain private. You will see a HTTPS protocol displayed in your browser address line when the link is secure. SSL is an industry standard and is used by millions of websites in the protection of their online transactions with their customers.

Why don`t I see the SSL padlock or HTTPS protocol in the address line?
Our booking engine is usually `framed` into other sites. This is like having two browser windows in one, but you cannot easily see the address line and other information, such as the SSL status (padlock), in the second browser or frame. To verify that the framed window is transmitting using the HTTPS protocol you can right click anywhere in the frame (just not on an image) and select Properties from the pop-up menu. If you look at the Address line in the Properties window, you will see that the address for the framed page is a HTTPS address.

Will you give me directions to the course?
Please visit the Course Information pages on one of our partner sites for golf course information and directions. You may also find links to our member golf course websites in the Golf Channel Solutions Golf Markets section of this website.

Why don`t I get an email immediately after I sign up on a partner site?
Email offers are limited and usually contain the best deals. They are not sent to everyone, every day. Partners follow a rotation so that everyone who signs up eventually gets some great deals in their email, but it may take a while. Be patient, they will come.

Why do partners offer times that end up not being available?
When tee times are loaded into our system the inventory is available. However, specific tee times may be available for sale on multiple websites at the same time. A tee time is not put on hold until you start the booking process. To ensure the tee time is available, you must click the desired tee time and select the number of players. At this point the system will check to see if the time is still available. If so, it will be placed onhold for you. If the tee time is no longer available the system will find the next closest time and ask if you want to continue booking with the new time.

Why do tee times seem to appear and disappear?
After you click on a tee time and select the number of players the tee time is put on hold for five minutes. This gives you time to complete the booking process. If you do not complete the process the time will be removed from hold and appear on the site again.

Why is payment in full required for some times and not for others?
Some tee times posted to partner websites require 100% payment online, others require partial payment online and some may be paid for at the golf course on the day of play. The specific relationship between the partner and the golf course determines how payments are made. Please read the information on the check out page so you know what is being charged and when.

My credit card is good, why won’t your system accept it?
Check that the partner site accepts the type of credit card you are trying to use. Make sure that you have entered all of the information correctly. Double check your card number, billing address and expiration date. If it still does not work please complete the Contact Us form and be sure to include the error message you are receiving.

Did I get the tee time?
After completing the booking process, did you see a Thank You page outlining the details of your reservation? If the answer is yes, you have successfully booked your tee time.

What about sales tax?
Most tee times do not require sales tax. The partner site will clearly disclose if taxes are due and where they will be paid, online or at the golf course.

Do you charge a booking fee?
Sometimes a booking fee will be charged. It is usually a small fee between $1 and $2 per round booked. If a fee applies, it will be clearly disclosed to you during the booking process.

Is the booking fee refundable?
If a booking fee is charged by one of our partners or network providers it is usually non-refundable. Please read the tee time information and tee time policy during the booking process for more information.
